The Hospitalist Program Administrator provides management, operational, financial and administrative leadership of BayCare's employed hospitalist programs serving multiple hospitals. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinates and develops systems that will enhance the quality and cost-effective delivery of patient care.

• Develops outreach for the Hospitalist program.

• Works with Hospitalist physician leadership and Hospital administration to determine yearly program goals and overall strategic direction.

• Manages area of responsibility through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating care and/or services.

• Oversees and manages the daily operations and engagement of their area of responsibility including but not limited to staffing, IT systems, and team resources.

• Manages budgets and allocates resources according to department needs and plans.

• Provides direction and guidance to team members regarding their assigned job responsibilities.

• Addresses opportunities associated with quality, issues between team members and other concerns in an effective and timely manner.

Required experience includes 8 years of Physician Group Practice Management experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 4 years Physician Group Practice Management experience with a Master’s Degree in a related field. Two of the required years’ experience must be with Hospitalists Programs.
